Get Involved

You can do your part to win the freedom to marry.
There are many ways to GET INVOLVED:

Talk with other people about gay people and marriage equality, letting them know it matters to you and giving them a chance to ask questions and think anew. Use resources such as materials found on this website or in Why Marriage Matters, and educate yourself with the information available from many organizations, such as our national partners and statewide political organizations. Sign-up for their regular e-updates.

Learn the importance of storytelling and share one of your stories at our Story Center. Hearing the stories of real people and how the denial of marriage makes a difference in their everyday lives and the lives of their kids and loved ones is the most effective way to help people in the "reachable middle" understand how ending the exclusion from marriage is important.
